Julianna got her first tooth!! Yes her first one, finally! We had no clue it was coming. She gave us no warning - no crankiness - no screaming at night - no nothing. Yesterday she was drooling a lot, so in hindsight, that makes total sense because that little nubby was probably breaking through. I was feeding her breakfast this morning, and I saw something white on her gums... I thought it was cereal at first... But NOPE! That sucker was a tooth that broke through! Ahhh! I called Brian over right away and we were both giddy with joy! Sooo happpy! We had tears in our eyes... talk about happy mommy and daddy! Funny how incredible a little toothy can make mommy & daddy feel. Julianna didn't know what all the commotion was about so she just smiled. Little does she know we will be getting just as excited over each tooth that comes in.
Early this morning, Julianna let out a few whimpering cries in her crib but then went back to sleep. Again, in hindsight, her little toothy was probably bothering her. But I tell you, this kid is so tolerant. It must be her super mellow disposition because we really had no warning that tooth was about to come in! I'm sure the 2nd one will be coming in soon enough. I will try to get close enough to get a shot of the little white toothy soon enough. Julianna also has a little cough... I suspect it's from her drooling so much, it's going down the back of her throat & making her cough ... but we shall see.
